John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have, reportedly, been working on their marriage by going to couples therapy.
Shortly after John Legend detailed his experiences in couple’s therapy, National Enquirer published a misleading headline about him and Teigen.
John Legend needed help to save his marriage
The tabloid claimed that Legend needs a coach for marriage. But upon closer inspection, the article is just a rehash of the musician’s recent statement about couples therapy.
“We go to therapy sometimes. Every couple who has been together for a long time could use the time to talk to a third party to help with whatever concerns they have,” Legend told Cosmopolitan UK.

The “All of Me” singer also revealed what he thinks are the pillars of a successful marriage.
“It sounds obvious but being with someone you really care about, respect, and enjoy being around, I think that’s the crucial foundation. Then communicating, being considerate, listening to your partner, and making sure their needs are met,” he said.
Legend also revealed that there are times when he and Teigen annoy each other. But they don’t usually have blowout fights.
“We don’t have big knock-downs. We really have a great life together and I’m so happy with what we’ve built,” he gushed
Legend and Teigen have been married for seven years. And they have two children together.
Chrissy Teigen shares heartbreaking news about her son Jack
Just days ago, the couple revealed that they lost their newborn son, Jack. Teigen shared photos on social media, where she shared the heartbreaking news to her over 13 million followers.
“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough,” Teigen wrote.
The model also revealed that she and John Legend have decided to name their son Jack. She also said that Jack will forever be a part of their family.
“To our Jack – I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you,” Teigen wrote.
Shortly after their shocking revelation, friends of the couple from the industry showed their love and support for Teigen and John Legend.
