The net worth of Johnny Depp is still, reportedly, estimated at $200 million even after the actor lost his $650 million fortune years ago.
According to National Enquirer, Johnny Depp struggled with his finances due to his addiction and splurging.
According to CNBC, Amber Heard’s ex-husband spent millions on houses, artwork, staff, security, a yacht, a 45-acre tropical paradise in the Bahamas, and more.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor also spent huge sums of money on wine alone. And during an interview, Depp said that it’s insulting to say that he spent $30,000 on wine because he knows for a fact that he spent more.

During a previous interview, Depp confirmed that he lost approximately $650 million over the years.
“I had not only lost the $650 million, but I was $100 million in the hole because they had not paid the government my taxes for 17 years,” he said.
Despite his struggles with money, National Enquirer said that Depp still isn’t living in a poorhouse. After all, his net worth is still estimated at a staggering $200 million.
Johnny Depp’s libel case
Depp also made headlines this week after his court hearing against The Sun’s publisher NGN and editor, Dan Wootton wrapped up. The publication previously dubbed the actor as a wife-beater.
The actor’s lawyer, David Sherborne recapped his strongest statements by saying that Depp isn’t a wife-beater. The lawyer also said that Heard was the abuser during her marriage to Depp.
Sherborne also called Heard a wholly unreliable witness and a compulsive liar. The Aquaman star, allegedly, lied about the injuries she had suffered in the hands of her ex-husband.
The lawyer also said that his client has never hit a woman in his entire life because he models himself as a Southern gentleman.
Sherborne also accused The Sun of not researching well before publishing their story on the actor.
“What is important to Mr. Depp is clearing his name of this appalling allegation… He has lost nothing less than everything – and by that, I mean his reputation. This is not about money,” he said.
After their final day in court, Heard also released a statement. However, the actress was booed outside the courthouse. ”
“It has been incredibly painful to relive the break-up of my relationship, have my motives and my truth questioned, and the most traumatic details of my life with Johnny Depp shared in court and broadcast around the world. I stand by my testimony in court and I now place my faith in British justice,” she said.
