Jon Gosselin’s daughter stood up and revealed the truth over physical abuse claims made by her sibling against the actor.
Jon Gosselin’s daughter, Hannah, refused to let anyone ruin her father’s name by speaking the truth about what her brother, Collin, claimed.
On Sept. 10, Jon’s 16-year-old son Collin accused his father of, allegedly, physically abusing him through a since-deleted Instagram post.
The child also said that the actor caused injuries “through recent act/failure to act: hitting/punching.”
After the news broke, the Berks County Children and Youth Services in Pennsylvania, reportedly, looked into it.
To make sure that Jon knows he is not alone, Hannah came to his defense and debunked Collin’s statement.
What Jon Gosselin’s Daughter Said
“My dad loves us,” Jon Gosselin’s daughter told the Daily Mail through a statement. “He’s never been abusive.”
Jon and his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, share eight children—Cara, Madelyn, and the sextuplets Collin, Aaden, Hannah Alexis, Leah, and Joel.
Although they have a huge family, Hannah said that her father has been “very loving and supportive.” She also added that he always made sure he was there for them.
Furthermore, she also told the news outlet that she never witnessed the incident in question and pledged that her father never hit Collin.
Collin Revealed Gosselin’s Alleged Abuse
In a now-deleted Instagram post, the 16-year-old kid called the star a “liar” before listing the alleged abuse he experienced from his father.
“Yesterday he beat me up and thought nothing of it, he punched me in the face and gave me a swollen nose, and I started bleeding,” he penned a few days ago. “He then continued to kick me in the ribs after I was on the floor. He is a liar.”
At that time, Jon’s rep denied the allegations and told Us Weekly that no charges have been filed against him.
Family’s Matriarch Also Spoke Up
After learning about the abuse claims, Jon’s ex-wife, Kate, opened up the TV personality’s temperament, revealing to People that he is a “violent and abusive person.”
She also said that if CYS would not qualify the incident as an assault, she does not know what it means to be hurt anymore.
In addition, she told the magazine that she stayed quiet for a very long time about Jon’s “delusional ramblings.” But due to the recent accusations, she could not stay still anymore.
“The police need to do their jobs. I am so sick of Jon’s abuse being disguised as everything but. I don’t want my children around him. Enough is enough,” she went on.
