Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 152 spoilers have dropped, but it is shorter than usual and it looks like fans will miss the series for a little while.
Aside from a much-shorter chapter, Gege Akutami is about to take a month’s break due to some health concerns. So, what will happen in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 152?
New Chapter’s Summary
Titled “Perfect Preparation, Afterword,” Maki will try to kill her mother, but the latter will survive.
However, it looks like the Zen’in matriarch herself will kill Naoya. So, how does it happen?
It all begins when Maki meets her mom and she survives the ordeal.
Later, Naoya gets inside a room to hide from everyone, but he eventually falls. Without knowing, Maki’s mom is behind him, holding a knife.
Naoya does his best to get away from her, but she stabs him at the back, BlockToro noted.
The next scene shows the Jujutsu HQ, which wants to disband the Zen’in clan, removing it from the big three-clan group. But, they put the decision on hold.
The next scene shows Maki walking away with Mai’s body when Momo comes running toward them.
The latter is crying and holding Mai’s body, but Maki just walks away.
Back to her mom, she is about to meet her demise, too, before she even kills Naoya. After killing the Zen’in leader, she recalls the past and says she is grateful and happy to give birth to Maki and Mai.
Sadly, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 152 is only nine pages and what happens next remains a mystery.

Akutami’s One-Month Break
Meanwhile, ahead of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 152’s release, Akutami surprised everyone with his unexpected announcement.
The manga series will take an indefinite hiatus as he needs a lot of time to rest, Comicbook noted. Though his break is expected to be a month, it may be cut shorter or even go longer.
Some fans are disappointed by the news, others show their support to the mangaka.
They even said he could take all the time he needed to rest and put his health first.
“Jujutsu Kaisen manga will be on indefinite hiatus after the upcoming chapter (152) in this week’s issue of Weekly Shonen Jump,” the announcement reads.
“The break is due to Gege Akutami’s health. We wish Akutami-sensei a swift and full recovery during this much-needed break,” it continues.
Akuta himself addressed the issue, revealing the editorial department asked him to take a break.
Though he didn’t want to slow down the manga’s release, he needed to accept the offer. It had something to with some problems with his schedule.
“The suspension period should be about one month,” he said. “Even if I say I’m sick, it’s not any serious illness.”
He then promises to do his best with the manga’s serialization. So, it looks like fans need to savor Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 152’s release on Sunday, June 13.
