Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 153 will mark the end of the Zen’in clan. After Maki successfully annihilated this clan, what’s next for the Three Great Families?
Maki’s mother kills off Naoya, ultimately ending the cycle of hatred passed on to the future generations in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 153. As the Gojo and Kamo clans demand removing the Zen’in family from the Three Great families, what does it mean to the group?
The Removal of Zen’in Clan from the Big Three Families
According to Epic Dope, the proposed Zen’in clan removal may give the Kamo clan much power. However, it remains to be seen how the future events of the Jujutsu world may start to change.
They may try to attack Master Tengen’s tomb to capture his soul. If this happens, fans are about to witness an intense fight between Choso and Noritoshi.
The Zen’in clan’s defeat may affect everything that will happen in the future, knowing how big of a ruler it used to be
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 153 may finally begin the Culling Games arc, too. Here, Itadori and the company may continue their efforts to free Gojo from the Prison Realm.
Alternatively, Megumi will be looking for Kinji, the much-talked-about third-year student suspended from Jujutsu High.
The Manga Series’ Lengthy Hiatus
Sadly, there will be no Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 153 dropping this Sunday or in the coming weeks.
Weekly Shonen Jump announced Gege Akutami, the manga’s creator, had to take a temporary break after a meeting with the editorial apartment.
The mangaka has to look after his health and recover before he can return to work. Despite his eagerness to continue the manga, it was what they had decided.
In a separate statement, Akutami admitted to experiencing some health issues and the break might take a month or so.
“I decided to accept the kind offer from the editorial department and will take a break that should last about a month,” he said.
He then assured fans he didn’t have any serious illness and promised to do his best once he returns, IBTimes noted.
“I want to reassure everyone that I am not suffering from any serious illness and my mental state is strong. I do apologize for the long wait,” he added. “When I return, I will treat it as the start of a new series and do my very best.”
In addition, Shone Jump also published a personal note that Akutami issued, translating it into English from Japanese.
“I did have feelings that it’s wrong for a rookie like me to take a break that isn’t even when the story is between the end of a long arc and the start of a new one,” he explained.
By the looks of it, fans have to wait for Akutami’s return before they finally see what happens next in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 153.
