All eyes are now on Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 164 with Yuji Itadori and Higuruma’s fight, but it will still take a week before fans can witness this event.
The manga will be on a short hiatus and will not be part of the next issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. So, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 164 will be out after a week instead to continue the Culling Game.
A Short Break and New Chapter Spoiler
Gege Akutami or Shonen Jump did not explain why the manga would go on a break this week.
However, this is not the first time that the manga will go on a short hiatus and it is probably because of the creator’s health. Despite that, the artist is still maintaining a steady schedule, making a strong string of releases.
Anyhow, when the manga returns, it will continue the intense fights of the Culling Game, Comicbook noted.
Twitter user Ducky drops the official synopsis of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 164, hinting at Itadori and Higuruma’s battle.
Higuruma wants to preserve the Culling Game’s mechanics and is ready to protect his points against Itadori. So, can Itadori convince Higuruma to use his points to introduce a new rule?
“A duel to the death, with the points on the line!” the synopsis reads.

Chapter 163 Recap
In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 163, fans witnessed a flashback of Amai and Itadori while they were still in junior high.
Amai used to hang out with the bullies to avoid getting involved in any troubles back then. However, Itadori saw a group of bullies mocking Amai, so he came to his rescue, per IBTimes.
Now, Amai and Itadori joined the Culling Game. Elsewhere, Megumi warned Remi not to take the Ikebukuro route to Shinjuku, knowing they might meet other players.
Remi convinced him that way was simple and she even had a base nearby. She also told him she needed to rest before they could continue their journey.
However, they met another player named Reggie, who revealed to Megumi everything Remi said was only a trap.
This made Megumi mad, as he desperately wanted to see Higuruma, so he was left with no choice but to fight Reggie.
Amai then told Itadori Higuruma was inside the theatre. When he went inside, he saw a man in a bathtub and asked him if he was Higuruma and if he scored 100 points in the game.
Itadori later realized he was a modern sorcerer to whom he could make a deal. However, it looked like Higuruma had no plans to use his points to stop the Culling Game or change its mechanics.
So, Itadori decided to use force against Higuruma, resulting in a battle between the two. What happens from here can be seen when Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 164 drops on Sunday, Nov. 7.
