Julia Roberts has been at the center of several dubious claims in recent months.
Some tabloids have been claiming that Julia Roberts decided to buy a house outside Los Angeles because she’s struggling financially.
Julia Roberts relocating to San Francisco without her husband
Others have also been claiming that Roberts has decided to relocate to San Francisco to get away from her husband, Danny Moder.
According to In Touch Weekly, Roberts’ finances were gravely affected by COVID-19. After all, the actress was unable to work for a few months.
A source told the tabloid that this is the reason why Roberts and Moder decided to sell some of their properties.
“She’s downsizing because she knows where this is all going,” the source said.
The insider also said that Roberts is in dire need of cash. And the Pretty Woman star could no longer take the hustle and bustle of Hollywood so she wants to move somewhere quieter and more peaceful.
Rumors debunked
Back then, Gossip Cop debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that Roberts and Moder are not struggling financially. While it is true that they sold some of their properties, these were done before the coronavirus pandemic.
As such, the tabloid claims that Roberts needs money during the pandemic that’s why she sold several properties are not accurate.
And if Julia Roberts and Moder are struggling financially, it wouldn’t make sense for them to buy a huge mansion in San Francisco.
Julia Roberts, Danny Moder divorcing
New Idea also claimed that Roberts wanted to get out of her marriage to Moder. As such, the actress has, allegedly, decided to throw the cinematographer out of their marital home.
The couple was also, allegedly, disagreeing on where they should live. Moder, allegedly, wants to stay in Los Angeles so Roberts feels that she should just leave him behind when she moves to San Francisco.
However, it is important to note that Roberts and Moder are still together. This means that the actress new threw her husband out of the house for whatever reason.
But OK! magazine also insisted that the couple was fighting over their living arrangements. A source told the tabloid that Roberts wanted Moder to join her and their kids when they move to San Francisco. However, Moder is refusing to leave Los Angeles.
Once again, these claims aren’t true. Julia Roberts and Moder aren’t fighting over their living arrangements.
