Zack Snyder announces the release of The Snyder Cut
Director Zack Snyder has recently confirmed the premiere of the mythical, unreleased version of the 2017 superhero film Justice League. Reportedly, The Snyder Cut will drop on Warner Media’s HBO Max in 2021.
The showrunner thanked HBO Max and Warner Brothers for supporting artists and allowing realizations of true visions. Moreover, Snyder extended his deepest gratitude to all the people who supported the “ReleasetheSnyderCut” movement.
Nevertheless, it is uncertain yet what form the Snyder’s version the movie will take. Whether it will be released as an almost four-hour director’s cut or split into six chapters also remains vague.
The Snyder Cut of 'Justice League' is coming to HBO Max in 2021.
Apparently there is still $20 million worth of visual effects and additional filming to be done but Warner Bros. have given the go ahead. I'll be intrigued to see the end result.

What is The Snyder Cut
The Snyder Cut is a version of 2017’s Justice League cut by director Zack Snyder. Back in 2017, Warners wanted a cut of the movie in the two-hour range. Thus, Snyder delivered a rough version with an approximate two-hour running time despite filming a four-hour-long version.
There was still much work to do at that time. However, Snyder had to step down from his role due to a family tragedy. As a result, Joss Whedon came in to handle reshoots.
Consequently, the runtime hacked down from three and a half hours to 120 minutes. The former director insisted that what fans saw in theaters contained only one-fourth of his contribution.

What to expect in the upcoming title
Zack Snyder’s cut of the film will feature heroes: Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg, and Superman sharing the same screen. Moreover, Snyder has also dangled in this original footage Atom, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, and Darkseid.
In the end-credits of the theatrical cut, sword-wielding assassin Deathstroke joins Lex Luthor to create their own Justice League.
Zack Snyder further revealed,
“It will be an entirely new thing, and, especially talking to those who have seen the released movie, a new experience apart from that movie.”
