Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tied the knot in October 2012. The pair is notoriously private when it comes to their family life, but some tabloids always have something to say about the couple by quoting unnamed sources.
Star published a report claiming that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were heading to a $250 million divorce battle. The couple reportedly had no prenup, and Biel was humiliated and couldn’t stop crying.
The tabloid suggested that the pair had an unhappy marriage and were only forced to live together due to Biel’s second pregnancy. Biel and Timberlake were having a difficult time in the past weeks.
It painted the True Colors singer as a serial cheater and alleged that they parted ways in 2011. Their separation was due to rumors about Timberlake having an affair with Olivia Munn.
However, the split report was unlikely true because Biel and Timberlake were very in love with each other at the time. The two got engaged in December 2011.
The outlet insisted that Timberlake was unfaithful by mentioning his handholding scandal with his co-star Alisha Wainwright. Timberlake and Wainwright were not dating, and the Cry Me a River singer already addressed the issue.
When photos of Justin Timberlake holding hand with Alisha Wainwright made headlines, the celebrity dad immediately shut it down.
“I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love,” he wrote on Instagram.
“A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior.”
The tabloid published another report that was opposite to its previous articles. It alleged that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel was “closer than ever.”
It discussed Timberlake’s renewed effort to fatherhood. The couple also welcomed their second child last month after the actress’s secret pregnancy.
Gossip Cop debunked both reports because the outlet was trying to have it both ways. It painted Justin Timberlake as a cheating partner who later changed after welcoming his second child.
Also, the outlet has a history of publishing false reports about the couple and other celebrities. For instance, it claimed that George and Amal Clooney were expecting twins to save their marriage. It also subjected Reese Witherspoon and Julia Roberts to divorce rumors.
Both Witherspoon and Roberts are happy with their marriages. Meanwhile, the Clooneys haven’t welcomed a new set of twins and are also happy with their relationship.
