Nine months after the NSYNC member held hands with his co-star, Alisha Wainwright, Justin Timberlake still hasn’t, allegedly, gained his wife’s trust back.
A source told In Touch Weekly that rebuilding trust has been the main issue between Timberlake and Biel.
“Jessica was devastated when the cheating scandal happened and hasn’t gotten over it,” the source said.
The Seventh Heaven star just, reportedly, found out that she was pregnant when Timberlake’s photos with Wainwright made headlines. As such, her emotions were all over the place.
“But Justin pleaded with her to give him a second chance. And she did. She might not have made the same decision if she hadn’t been pregnant,” the source said.
The birth of Biel and Timberlake’s second child, allegedly, brought the couple closer for the first few weeks. However, things went back to normal shortly after. The couple, allegedly, started fighting again nonstop.
“The image of him holding Alisha’s hand is hard to erase. Justin definitely screwed up and so far, he hasn’t been able to fully regain her trust. And with no trust, it’s hard for a marriage to survive,” the source said.
In July, reports swirled that Justin Timberlake and Biel welcomed their second child. However, the couple has yet to share the name of their baby, as well as their baby’s photo.
Months before they welcomed the newest addition to their family, National Enquirer claimed that Biel got her revenge on Timberlake by flirting with another man.
“Jessica’s not going to let Justin get off that easy. She found out that some healthy flirting with other men goes a long way to getting him to toe the line. Jess is just showing off her beautiful bod a bit more and reciprocating when men let her know that they appreciate it. She’s definitely having fun with it,” the source said.
Earlier this month, Woman’s Day dubbed the couple’s second child as “band-aid baby.” After all, their second child, allegedly, helped the couple deal with their issues.
The tabloid also claimed that Biel didn’t know that she was pregnant when phots of Timberlake and Wainwright surfaced online. But since she was already pregnant, the actress, allegedly, forgave her husband for his infidelity.
Justin Timberlake immediately issued a public apology to his wife following the incident.
