Another week means another new episode of Kaguya-sama: Love is War. So far it has already released 11 episodes and this week it’s going to release episode 12.
Fans have been looking into details already of the upcoming episode especially since it’s said to be the last one.
According to reports, Kaguya-sama: Love is War season 2 episode 12 is scheduled for release on Friday, June 26, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. PT. Meanwhile, it will be released on Saturday, June 27 at 11:30 p.m. in Japan.
The first season had only 12 episodes that’s why many also assume that season 2 will follow suit. There are no further details to the matter though so followers of the manga anime will have to stay tuned.
As always, the anime series is available to watch on Funimation and AnimeLab. The first season is available on Netflix, Crunchyroll and Hulu.
Season 2 episode 11 did not focus on Miyuki and Kaguya. Instead, it gave fans the chance to know the story of Yu Ishigami, how he became who he is, and where he goes from here.
During the sports festival, Ishigami just won the three-legged race when he saw someone from his past–Kyoko Otomo.
Kyoko’s presence triggered a full-blown depression for Ishigami and it left him feeling worthless, incompetent and alone. The incident that happened in the past troubled him so much.
It was in middle school when he beat Kyoko’s boyfriend Ko Ogino for being unfaithful to Kyoko. All he wanted to do was protect Kyoko but it backfired on him.
He was accused of beating Ogino for being in love with Kyoko. Ishigami decided not to dispute it so as not to traumatize Kyoko further.
Episode 11 was without a doubt a very emotional one. And thanks to Miyuki, Ishigami was comforted by his assertion that he is not crazy.
Not much is known with Kaguya-sama: Love is War season 2 episode 12. But throughout the span of two seasons, Kaguya and Miyuki have been keeping their feelings from each other.
The manga anime series follows the main characters as tsundere. It’s the term in the anime world wherein the character refuses to acknowledge his or her true feelings for other characters.
The anime has been using the trait to bring out some hilarious jokes. But in the penultimate episode, it showed a different mood. It has been the most serious in the season by far.
And it also explained why Miyuki is so hesitant towards relationships. It revealed why he keeps his distance from Kaguya despite his deep feelings for her.
Fans are hoping that episode 12 will finally have both characters confess their feelings for each other. It’s expected to have its usual comedy to it but not without a hint of seriousness.
Fans will have to stay tuned for more of Kaguya-sama: Love is War season 2 episode 12.
