The Presidential campaign is off to a heated start with Vice-Presidential candidate Kamala Harris took shots at current POTUS in her first joint campaign with Joe Biden.
Just recently, Democratic White House hopeful Joe Biden officially announced teaming up with fellow democrat, Sen. Kamala Harris, as his Vice-President pick for the Presidential campaign.
Harris and Biden just also had their first join campaign in Delaware, wherein Harris aimed a few shots to Trump, most especially on his alleged “mismanagement” in handling the global pandemic.
.@JoeBiden can unify the American people because he's spent his life fighting for us. And as president, he'll build an America that lives up to our ideals.
I'm honored to join him as our party's nominee for Vice President, and do what it takes to make him our Commander-in-Chief.

Harris on Trump: “America is crying out for leadership”
Based on CNN’s report, it looks like Kamala Harris has done a fair job of showing America as to why Biden chose her for the Vice-Presidency. During their joint campaign in Wilmington, Delaware, Harris highlights Trump’s work so far, in terms of handling the country during the coronavirus pandemic.
The news outlet quotes Harris in her first campaign speech, saying:
“The President’s mismanagement of the pandemic has plunged us into the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, and we’re experiencing a moral reckoning with racism and systemic injustice that has brought a new coalition of conscience to the streets of our country demanding change.”
“America is crying out for leadership. Yet we have a President who cares more about himself than the people who elected him,” she further conveyed.
Harris noted “Trump’s failure,” leading 16 million Americans to unemployment. In addition, the way the president allegedly shrugged off the 165,000 lives that COVID-19 took, saying, “it is what it is.”
She then compared Trump to Biden by lauding the latter for his “empathy, his compassion, his sense of duty.”
Biden-Harris tag team aims to “rebuild this country”
Speaking before Kamala Harris, former Vice President Joe Biden spoke highly of his VP pick for his Presidential campaign. He described her as an inspiring iconic figure that’ll help him “rebuild this country”—the United States of America.
“I have no doubt that I picked the right person to join me as the next vice-president of the United States of America, and that is Senator Kamala Harris,” The Straits Times quotes Biden during the same Delaware campaign event. “She’s ready to do this job on day one. We’re both ready to get to work rebuilding this nation.”
Back when Kamala was Attorney General, she worked closely with Beau. I watched as they took on the big banks, lifted up working people, and protected women and kids from abuse. I was proud then, and I'm proud now to have her as my partner in this campaign.
