Kanye West’s presidential bid continues after the 43-year-old rapper hired a team of political advisors and other political know-how.
Sources revealed Kanye West added more strength to his presidential campaign team by hiring people with proper knowledge about politics. With the right experience, they will help West to have his name on the ballot in more states.
More people are now working on Kanye West presidential campaign
Insiders told TMZ that the presidential aspirant’s advisors are employing more people to work on his campaign. They are, reportedly, recruiting more volunteers that will go across the United States to help with the campaign.
There will also be third-party organizations that will be “spreading campaign awareness.”
Today, their primary goal is to have enough signatures that will put the fashion mogul’s name on the ballot in the remaining states.
The tipsters revealed the volunteers are now working to gather more signatures in West Virginia. Other campaign staffers, alternatively, are in New York to catch the Thursday deadline to qualify for the ballot.
The Secretary of States’ office told West’s team they needed 7,144 signatures in West Virginia alone by Monday. If they manage to do this, they can have his name appear on the ballot alongside Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
The signatures gathered will be under a thorough review to make sure everyone who signed is a registered voter.

Questions about the validity of signatures gathered in Illinois
TMZ reported that there are questions if the signatures West gathered in Illinois are valid.
According to NME, Illinois officials announced their plan to review the validity of the signatures they gathered to have his name on the ballot.
The State Board of Elections decided to begin an investigation after three objections were lodged following the paperwork’s filing.
In the said state, West has to have 2,500 signatures from its registered voters.
So, they need to hold a meeting before they decide if West can make it up on the Illinois ballot.
So far, Kim Kardashian’s husband already submitted all the paperwork needed in New Jersey, Oklahoma, Illinois, and Missouri.
Now, his more reliable campaign team is working on West Virginia and New York.
West strategically announced his presidential run on the Fourth of July. But by this time, he already missed the deadlines for the independent candidates to have their names appear on the ballots in some states.
Elon Musk revealed he advised Kanye West to move his presidential campaign in 2024. But it seemed to fall on deaf ears.
