Kanye West is allegedly taking revenge on Kim Kardashian and her family with his Netflix docuseries, according to a tabloid.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian announced their split earlier this year. In February, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star filed for divorce. One outlet claimed that West has videos that the Kardashian-Jenner clan would surely disapprove of.
Kanye West taking revenge against Kim Kardashian rumor
Kris Jenner reportedly wanted all clips used by West to be run through her. However, his team refused to obliged, an unnamed source told National Enquirer.
The Gold Digger rapper allegedly allowed cameras to follow him in the past two decades and the footage is “incredibly personal.” It allegedly shows his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, in an unflattering light and very different from the persona she is putting out in the world.
The unnamed insider added that West’s footage also showed the bad side of her family. So, Kardashian and her mom are allegedly planning to get a hold of the said footage.
“Her family doesn’t exactly come out smelling like a rose either, and that’s exactly why Kim and Kris want to get their hands of the thing,” the source said.
West’s docuseries is planned for 2022 and it reportedly cost Netflix a whopping $30 million. However, West’s rep refused to confirm the amount.
West’s videos allegedly “picked up a lot of dirt” and he would be using it against the Kardashian-Jenner clan. It was allegedly his revenge for the years that the KUWTK filming crew interrupted his life.
Rumor debunked
However, one should take the report with a grain of salt. Gossip Cop examined it and doubt the tabloid’s claim.
First, Kanye West’s documentary will be about his life and career. While some might include his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, and their four children, it is unlikely that it would focus on the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s dirt.
Instead, it will focus on West’s whole life and career not just on the years he was with Kardashian.
Second, the rumor-debunking site questioned the outlet’s source. Gossip Cop doubts that Enquirer has a source and probably just made up the story.
Also, the outlet is creating a drama between West and Kardashian when there is none. The exes made it clear that their kids are their priority and they remain amicable after their split.
In fact, Kardashian paid a sweet Father’s Day tribute to West Sunday.
Kardashian shared snaps of the men in their family with kids and it included her husband, West, with their four kids. It also featured her dad Robert Kardashian, step-dad William Bruce Jenner, brother Rob Kardashian Scott Disick, Tristan Thompson and Travis Scott.
“Happy Father’s day to all the amazing dads in our lives!” she wrote before adding, “Love you unconditionally!!!”
