Actress Kat Dennings of WandaVision has teased a new side of her character Darcy Lewis in the ongoing Disney Plus MCU TV series.
According to Comicbook, fans will see a new side of Darcy Lewis in WandaVision. Actress Kat Dennings just revealed it in a recent media interaction. She told them to expect a Darcy they have never seen before in the MCU.
“I will say that you see things from Darcy that have not been seen before,” she said.
“WandaVision”: What to expect next?
When it comes to surprises, then indeed, WandaVision is expected to provide many of them in the upcoming episodes. And now the TV show’s one of the key cast members, Kat Dennings, is teasing a new one as well. Darcy Lewis (from the Thor movies) will have many shades in the Marvel series.
Moreover, Kat Dennings also expressed her happiness after joining the cast of WandaVision. She thanked the writers of the MCU title.
“I’m so grateful to the writers for giving her this rich backstory because the last time we saw her, she was Jane Foster’s intern, and the joke was that she’s a political science major and not a science major.”
Speaking about the show itself, then viewers seem to like it a lot since its debut last month on Disney Plus. On Rotten Tomatoes, it’s sitting among the best-rated MCU entries so far, like Avengers: Endgame and Black Panther. Despite a dip from an initially perfect score, the current rating isn’t too bad either. As far as the new episodes are engaging and interesting, they will possibly maintain this momentum.
MCU entries in the future
Meanwhile, there are various other shows and films in the most prominent cinematic franchise in the world. Despite COVID-19, Marvel Studios is trying hard to handle already announced projects at the moment.
Since 2019, fans have waited for more than a year for a new MCU installment. And this year has ended the drought with WandaVision. But apart from this, other titles are also arriving soon. In March, Falcon and the Winter Soldier will make its debut on Disney Plus.
Then there are movies in phase four, lined-up to release in 2021. But due to rising cases of Coronavirus, they might witness yet another delay. And it won’t be a good thing as far as the patience of die-hard fans is concerned.
Several other future shows on Disney’s streaming service include Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Loki, and Hawkeye. Newly announced projects are Secret Invasion, Armor Wars, Ironheart, and a Wakanda series. The latter will be helmed by Ryan Coogler, the genius filmmaker of Black Panther.
