Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth II share a great bond. However, one outlet claimed that they were feuding due to Meghan Markle’s mother. However, one should take the report with a grain of salt because there is no evidence to support the allegation.
Kate Middleton reportedly felt that she didn’t receive the same treatment as Meghan Markle when she joined the royal family. Prince Harry’s wife received a warm welcome when she was about to join the Firm and long before their royal wedding.
In fact, Prince Charles offered his arm to Markle’s mom Doria Ragland when she exited St. George’s Chapel. The special treatment Ragland received allegedly sparked a rift between the Duchess of Cambridge and Her Majesty.
It allegedly started when the Queen invited the Duchess of Sussex to spend Christmas with them in Sandringham. Middleton didn’t enjoy the same privilege. She only had the chance to spend Christmas with the royals after she married Prince William.
“She understands that most of Meghan’s family is estranged from her and that this was a kind gesture, but it still hasn’t stopped her from thinking that Prince Harry’s wife has got it easy,” Life & Style quoted a source (via The News).
“Kate’s parents have never been asked to spend the holidays with the Queen. Instead, she and William have been forced to split their time between the Middletons and the royals, shuffling their children from household to household.”
There are also rumors that Prince Charles and Kate Middleton’s mom Carole are at odds. It quoted royal correspondent Katie Nicholl saying the Middleton’s matriarchy exudes grandiose presence in the palace. Moreover, Carole is allegedly possessive with the Cambridges kids.
Due to the issue, Prince Charles allegedly stopped inviting Kate and Prince William in Birkhall. The Prince of Wales felt the Middletons get more than their fair share of time with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the source claimed. In addition, the heir apparent allegedly noticed that Prince William spends more time with the Middletons than with his own family.
One should take the report with a grain of salt because it lacks evidence. For instance, it didn’t share details about Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth II’s alleged feud. Also, in contrast to the report, several sources said that Middleton and the monarch share a good relationship.
Just recently, one source claimed that Middleton is Her Majesty’s rock. Prince William’s wife reportedly made it easy for the queen to adapt to her new life.
“Her Majesty sees the Cambridges as the future of the monarchy and trusts Kate and William’s judgment implicitly,” the tipster told Us Weekly.
Meanwhile, Middleton also asks the Queen for advice, and the latter is reportedly more than happy to share her wisdom with the future queen consort.
Also, with Life & Style’s reputation for publishing articles based on the statements of its undependable sources, this could be another groundless claim waiting to be debunked. So, avid followers should take the report lightly.
