Kate Middleton had to break a royal protocol when she was pregnant due to serious health reasons.
Fans were all waiting to see who would be the next senior royal that would give birth to another royal baby. Aside from Kate Middleton, the bets were now on for Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
Pregnancy rumors had often plagued Kate. As Prince Louis is now two, many believed she’s now ready to have her fourth baby.
But with the complications surrounding her health when she’s pregnant, her wellbeing came to be the top priority.
The health complications of Kate’s pregnancy
Kate had been breaking the royal traditions whenever she was about to give birth. Instead of giving birth at Buckingham Palace, she chose to welcome her kids to the hospital.
Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis were all born at St. Mary’s Hospital.
The Duchess of Cambridge suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute morning sickness when she was pregnant with Prince Louis.
She was admitted to the King Edward VII Hospital, London, at the time as she needed supplementary hydration and nutrients.
ABC News royal expert Victoria Arbiter revealed, via Express, that this health issue incited her to follow in the footsteps of her mother-in-law Princess Diana, who gave birth in the hospital.
“Kate will definitely give birth in a hospital, certainly if she is still enduring complications such as this,” she said. “They’ll be keen for Kate to get the best care possible because ultimately she is carrying the heir to the throne.”
The hospital could provide them with the best facilities and level of care if any complication arose, knowing Kate was a “high-risk pregnancy.”
Arbiter was 100% sure that Prince William’s main concern was his wife and their baby’s health.

Kate debunked the undying pregnancy rumors in 2019
Last year, Kate had debunked the endless rumors about her alleged fourth pregnancy.
At the time, the bookies had slashed the odds on her pregnancy announcement. There were also talks that Prince Eugenie would welcome her first child then — only that it didn’t happen.
During her visit to Northern Ireland for the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Ballymena, the crowd asked Kate about baby number four.
“I think William would be little worried!” she said, via Her.
Although Kate Middleton did not further explain her answer, she and Prince William might have their hands full with their three kids for now.
