Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth II reportedly tried to “control” Meghan Markle after her behavior worried several royal aides.
Rumors of rift and feud between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have continued to develop in recent months. Following “Megxit,” many have wondered if the alleged friction has become a factor in their decision.
It remains unclear, though, whether the two Duchesses are, indeed, in an apparent rift. But, recent claims suggested that the Duchess of Cambridge “made a pact” with Queen Elizabeth II because of her concerns about the former Suits actress.
Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth’s pact
Royals at War is the recently released book about the British Royals. As reported, it mainly focuses on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s exit. In addition, it also tackles the true nature of their relationship with Kate Middleton and Prince William.
One of the most shocking revelations includes the alleged “alliance” between the Duchess of Cambridge and the British Monarch, according to the Daily Express. As explained, the future Queen went “directly” to the current head of the British Monarchy. She reportedly shared her “concerns” about the newest member of the British Royal Family.
The book reportedly further alleges that Kate’s concern mainly centered on Meghan Markle’s “behavior” and character. As revealed, it already began to “worry” several royal aides.
Queen Elizabeth II agreed to help
The alleged “pact” between Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth II reportedly happened six months after Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry tied the knot. After sharing her insight, the Queen reportedly agreed to help as this also became one of her major concerns. As stated, she allied herself with the Duchess of Cambridge to “guide” the Duchess of Sussex when it comes to the apparent “trials and tribulations.”
Royals at War‘s authors, Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett, also reportedly shared what led the Queen to agree with Prince William’s wife. Based on claims, she became “mindful” of the difficulties and struggles of the late Princess Diana when she joined the Royal Family. “She was keen to avert another disaster,” according to Cheat Sheet.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry still left
Despite the efforts, it appears that it did not work as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry still left. They officially stepped down as senior royals on March 31, and have since relocated to the United States.
As for Kate Middleton, she, along with her husband, Prince William, seemingly centered their focus on their family and the British Monarchy. Reports said that it is not surprising given that they are the future King and Queen Consort of the United Kingdom.
