Kate Middleton and Prince William let their kids enjoy the meals children their age love like burgers and chips in their recent outing.
Kate Middleton and Prince William want their children to have a normal childhood. So, they sometimes give in to their whims including eating greasy foods that most, if not all, really enjoy.
Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoy burgers and chips with kids
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge decided to enjoy a classic English beer garden lunch in Norfolk yesterday. They took their black spaniel and three children to a local pub in Norfolk for their meal.
The family munched on burgers and chips. They all dressed casually in shorts, T-shirts and trainers. Prince William was also quick to comfort one of the kids when their food was too hot.
The future king and queen looked relaxed and happy after attending numerous public engagements in the past days.
Middleton recently traveled to Brize Norton in Oxfordshire to meet Afghan veterans. She also visited cadets in Lake Windemere and met Emma Raducanu in Roehampton.
Meanwhile, Prince William attended emergency services day in London. He also visited football youth teams.
The Cambridges were very ‘down-to-earth’
Those who saw the royal family during their outing had nothing but praises for them. According to them, they were so down-to-earth. They kept their presence low-key that many thought they were just any other family.
Prince William, Middleton and their kids were chatting and enjoying each other’s company. According to an onlooker, the family ate outside probably because it would be easier for their children.
“There was no security around, just them chilling like any other family. Wills had a burger and chips,” the tipster told The Sun.
“They had their pet dog, a spaniel with them, and they were all laughing. There was one particularly touching moment where one of the children got upset because their food was too hot,” the source added. “William was so fast to reassure them and sort them out. It was fantastic to see.”
Prince William allegedly blocking baby Lili’s UK christening
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to have baby Lili’s christening in the U.K. However, Prince William is allegedly not supportive of the idea.
According to NBC royal correspondent Neil Sean, Markle wanted to have baby Lili’s baptism at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. The place is special for the Sussexes because it’s where Prince Harry and Markle tied the knot. It’s also where their firstborn, Archie, was christened.
However, Prince William allegedly said “no” about the idea of baby Lili being christened in St. George. The Duke of Cambridge reportedly said that it’s not going to work and it’s not a good idea.
