Kate Middleton and Prince William’s anniversary celebration
People is releasing a special edition, William and Kate: 10 Joyous Years, that traces the royal couple’s lives together from their courtship years at the University of St. Andrew’s in Scotland, their brief split, engagement, and up to their lives today as parents of three.
The collector’s edition will also include a look back at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s glorious spring wedding, which was dubbed the “Wedding of the Century.”
Their big day featured age-old traditions, Middleton’s gorgeous wedding dress by luxury fashion house Alexander McQueen, gleaming horse-drawn carriages, a flyover by the Royal Air Force, and cheers for the newlywed kisses on the Buckingham Palace’s balcony.
People’s William & Kate: 10 Joyous Years will be available on Amazon and wherever the magazines are sold.
The Cambridges at the present
Prince William and Middleton remain in love after being together for almost two decades. They dated for almost 10 years before they got engaged and married.
Despite their royal titles, the couple remains simply “William and Kate” at home, People noted. He makes tea for guests while she serves enchilada. They also share parenting duties to their three children Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2.
Prince William is also very protective of his wife. In fact, he was reportedly not happy when Meghan Markle dragged Middleton during her and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The Duchess of Sussex was asked about the rumors that she made Middleton cry in the run-up of her royal wedding. Markle denied it saying, “the reverse happened.” She added that Middleton already apologized, and she forgave her.
Katie Nicholl, royal correspondent, and author, told Entertainment Tonight that Prince William was devastated by the Sussexes’ interview. He hates it when his wife is being dragged into controversies, and it upset him that the Duchess of Cambridge was mentioned in the interview, especially that Middleton, herself, is very close to Prince Harry.
Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry shared a tight bond. The Duke of Sussex was even dubbed the Cambridges’ third wheel, and the three members of the Firm were collectively dubbed as the “royal trio.”
