Kate Middleton is, allegedly, thrilled to have finally spoken to Meghan Markle after all these years.
According to Heat UK, Markle was the one that reached out to Kate Middleton first via a transatlantic phone call. And after the Duchess of Cambridge picked up, the sisters-in-law have been talking to each other consistently.
Markle and Middleton have, allegedly, been talking about a lot of things like their past issues, their respective, children, and even their husbands.
Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton has a lot of things to talk about
The sisters-in-law have also been talking about their charity work, and they have also informed Queen Elizabeth about their plans.
“They’ve also spoken about the queen, their charity work, and trivial things like lifestyle and travel. Kate is pleased that Meghan has reached out and she ultimately supports her and Harry’s choice to pursue their own lives abroad. But her stance remains that there’s no need to criticize the monarchy, and it’s everyone’s duty to apologize for any misunderstandings and move forward,” the source said.
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry want Lili to be christened in the UK
According to the insider, Markle decided to make amends with Middleton because she is planning to join Prince Harry on his trip to the United Kingdom.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also planning to ask the queen’s permission so that they could have their daughter, Lili baptized in the UK.
The source alleged that Prince Harry and Markle didn’t want to have any awkwardness with the Cambridges when they visit. But this doesn’t necessarily mean that the royals are excited to reunite with them.
In fact, another tabloid recently claimed that Prince William and Middleton will most likely attend Lili’s christening because it would be bad for their image if they’re not there.
Prince Charles and Camilla will also be there even though their relationship has, allegedly, become estranged with the Sussexes.
Rumors debunked
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Prince Harry and Markle have no plans to return to the UK anytime soon. And their daughter won’t also be christened in the country.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle traveled to New York this week for an engagement. So, if the reports are true, photos of them arriving in the UK will surely make headlines.
