Katie Holmes sparked Instagram hack scare with one post on her social media. But her fans should not worry because she is still handling her account.
Katie Holmes shared a video of a turtle swimming on the and captioned it with “too cute” with two pink heart emojis on Instagram. However, many of her followers did not find it entertaining because, at first glance, it seemed that a giant fish ate the turtle.
Many of Holmes’s followers found the video scary and horrible. Since it wasn’t the usual nature of her social media posts, several asked if her account was hacked.
“Did your account get hacked?” someone else asked.
“Who posted this? Its strange,” another wrote.
According to Gossip Cop, Katie Holmes is still the one who manages her Instagram account. If one carefully watches the video, the turtle dips under the water before the large creature appears in the foreground. The turtle is safe.
The video was cute, as Holmes described it. It just shows a turtle calmly floating in the water. Also, the outlet noted that it’s rare for turtles to be swallowed whole, especially with its hard shell.
Several just misunderstood Holmes’ video. It wasn’t dark, as many assumed it to be.
Meanwhile, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughter, Suri, has been spotted out and about on her own. Many fans agreed that she inherited the Dawson’s Creek alum’s beauty.
Earlier this month, Suri stepped out with her dogs wearing a white T-shirt, a pair of gray sweatpants, and blue flip-flops. With one glance in the photo, one would think that the girl on the photos was Holmes when she was younger.
Katie Holmes rarely talked about her daughter. She is a protective mom when it comes to her only child. However, in a rare interview, she shared how they spent the lockdown together. The quarantine made her realize how blessed she was, and it also gave her a lot of lessons in life.
“I like to keep her out of my interviews, but I will say that this time of quarantine has been such a lesson,” Holmes said.
“Just really looking at everything you have and celebrating the simplicity of making dinner and [spending] that time together. When I think about my life, I feel very blessed. I have felt very lucky, and I rely on my instincts a lot but I also forgive myself for mistakes,” she added.
