In other words, she is truly regretting her divorce especially because she did not get much from her ex-husband.
Based on the article that was published on the latest issue of In Touch, a source claimed that Katie Holmes had run out of cash so she was forced to accept “humiliating gigs.”
It was added that all that the actress got was custody of her daughter Suri Cruise and her child support that cost $400,000 per year.
“Katie was proud of walking away from Tom without securing a hefty financial settlement but in hindsight, that may have been a huge mistake,” the source told the magazine. “The ongoing COVID-19 situation is making her doubt her seemingly-sudden divorce as Katie has huge expenses and she’s not bringing in a steady paycheck from films or TV shows right now.”
The insider further shared that Holmes gets payments for showing up at events and hawk some products she could sell. However, in this time crisis, she can’t book any gigs since all events have been canceled.
The sad thing is that when the COVID-19 pandemic is finally over, events could be staged again but she is likely to earn a lot less now compared to the time before the crisis hit.
“If they (Katie and the other artists) got $2,000 to stand there and hold a product and smile before the pandemic, they may get $800 when we come out of this,” the so-called source relayed. “It’s humiliating but hey, it’ll pay the bills.”
Gossip Cop pointed out that the whole thing came from one source only and he or she is not reliable thus the allegations against Katie Holmes are false. The tipster also appeared to have no idea of how much celebrities in Hollywood are earning so his or her claims are obviously inaccurate.
Furthermore, the 41-year-old actress is not regretting her decision to walk away from Tom Cruise. This is because she thinks that their divorce would be the best for their daughter.
It should also be noted that Holmes meticulously prepared for her divorce with the help of her lawyers. Thus, it is impossible for her to be weeping over her split from the Mission Impossible actor.
