Multiple Billboard Music Award-winner Katy Perry is poised to headline Tomorrowland Around The World—a digital music festival taking place later this month.
It is the modern age of music festivals, and the show goes on with Katy Perry headlining Tomorrowland Around The World—worldwide pandemic or not.
Following the Global Goal: Unite for Our Future live stream concert last month with the most celebrated pop artists, the Woodstock of the EDM world—Tomorrowland—will be held digitally on July 25-26, a 3D, interactive music fest featuring the most popular acts in the electronic dance genre.
The digital festival boasts of top-drawer visual production, dazzling special effects, and a fully immersive, unparalleled virtual experience.

Tomorrowland Yesterday
The Belgian electronic dance music festival’s stage first emerged in Boom, Belgium on August 14th of 2005, with performances from Armin Van Buuren and Push (M.I.K.E.), along with other famed EDM artists.
The all-day show went on to become an annual revelry for ravers all over the world. In its third year in 2007, the event lasted for two days, claiming its first full weekend. The following year, the party blew up to a much grander scale, as over 100 DJs performed for a crowd of more than 50,000.
2011 witnessed the festival’s relentless expansion as it went on for 3 days, alongside the music genre’s growing popularity. With performances from David Guetta, Afrojack, Avicii and Tiesto, EDM seemed to have invaded the mainstream scene at the onset of the new decade.

Katy Perry roars Around the World
The artist who became famous for her song about kissing a girl and liking it expressed her excitement for turning the spotlight on the stage in this year’s Tomorrowland Around The World.
Katy Perry, who is now expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom, announced, “I’ve always wanted to be a part of the fun of Tomorrowland, and have been following the amazing innovation, technology, and invention that this festival has always been about for a long time.”
While Katy Perry‘s fans—KatyCats—may be thrilled about their idol bringing pop music into the EDM scene, some Tomorrowland followers raised their eyebrows in question, seeing the events as a “sell-out.”
