Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are allegedly planning to leave Hollywood as they wait for their upcoming bundle of joy.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom will soon be a family of three. An outlet claimed that the couple is considering the idea of ditching Tinseltown to settle down in Santa Barbara.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom leaving Hollywood
Star published a report claiming that Katy Perry and her fiance, Orlando Bloom, are “saying goodbye to Hollywood.” It quoted an unnamed insider who suggested that the couple wants to raise their child somewhere else and not in Hollywood.
“Katy and Orlando believe Santa Barbara’s safer and more child-friendly,” the source said.
The insider, whom the outlet referred to as a “pal” of the couple, added that moving out of Tinseltown has been in the cards for months. The dubious source added that new scenery might help the couple for two reasons.
First, Bloom is allegedly still mourning over the death of his beloved dog. Second, Perry is having a difficult time with her pregnancy during the quarantine, and her mom is in Montecito.
Report debunked
Gossip Cop debunked the report because the headline was different from the article itself. The headline suggested that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are quitting Hollywood. However, the content suggested that they were just “looking forward to a new start.”
The couple looking for a new start is understandable as they have a baby arriving soon. But the headline alleged that Perry and Bloom are leaving Hollywood when they are just reconsidering their living situation.
Gossip Cop concluded that the report was a “classic bait and switch tactic” to trick the readers.
Perry showed fans a glimpse of her daughter’s nursery
On Sunday, The One That Got Away singer gave her fans a pleasant surprise by touring them insider her baby’s pink-themed nursery room, People reported. She also showed them her daughter’s crib, rocking chair, and changing area.
Katy Perry even joked if her fans want to see more of her child’s outfit. She then pulled out an adorable onesie and laughed with her fans because it was printed with Orlando Bloom’s face.
What’s in Montecito?
As for the claim that Montecito is safe and more friendly, a realtor confirmed that. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also decided to settle down in Montecito, Santa Barbara.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex purchased their home in Montecito and moved there in July. Cristal Clarke, a luxury property specialist, approved the Sussexes’ move because the place is best for their son, Archie.
Montecito is “one of the safest and most family-friendly communities,” Clarke told Us Weekly.
