Kelly Clarkson recently opened up about her divorce from Brandon Blackstock.
While speaking with the LA Times, Kelly Clarkson said that she’s still processing and dealing with everything.
Kelly Clarkson talks about her kids and stepkids
The American Idol winner also refused to share details from her divorce even though she’s known for being an honest person. After all, Clarkson said that she’s thinking about her children and two stepchildren.
“But my children and his older children – there are a lot of little hearts involved in this. And while people feel, ‘Oh my gosh, what a loss…’ imagine how it is in the epicenter of the storm,” she said.
Kelly Clarkson’s show had better ratings than Ellen DeGeneres’ show
Around the time that Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock in June, rumors also swirled that her talk show is becoming more successful than Ellen Show.
Back then, tabloids also claimed that more celebrities want to appear in The Kelly Clarkson Show than on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show.
Celebrities don’t want to be on ‘Ellen Show’
According to National Enquirer, a slew of celebrities is avoiding the Ellen Show following the criticisms that the program and its host received. Since celebrities still want to promote their projects, they, allegedly, thought that going on The Kelly Clarkson Show will be much better for them.
“Ellen’s show is now toxic. You are going to see more and more stars avoid her and opt for a non-controversial booking instead. When big A-list celebs want to promote their work, they have a lot of different options. Ellen was always the first choice, but now stars are choosing to sit down with Kelly instead. Celebrities just want to sell themselves. They don’t want to get caught up in the drama,” a source said.
Rumors debunked
However, Gossip Cop recently debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that it’s not true that celebrities are avoiding Ellen Show. Just this week, the new season of the talk show premiered and DeGeneres already interviewed a slew of celebrities.
Her other guests for this month have also been confirmed. They are Orlando Bloom, Kerry Washington, Alec Baldwin, SuperM, Kris Jenner, Derek Hough, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, and more.
The new season of The Kelly Clarkson Show premiered recently. And the singer also has a wonderful line-up of celebrity guests including Usher, Neil Patrick Harris, John Legend, and more.
While pitting Kelly Clarkson and DeGeneres against each other makes up an entertaining storyline, the claims made by the tabloid aren’t true. In fact, Clarkson had DeGeneres support when her talk show premiered last year.
