Caitlyn Jenner is now celebrating the fifth anniversary of her transition as a transgender woman. As she talks about the experience in celebration of the LGBT Pride Month this June, two of her daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, call her their “hero.”
In an interview with People for its Pride issue, Caitlyn Jenner revealed that if one of her kids had any problem with her transition, she would never do it. Before she proceeded with the procedure, the 70-year-old television personality told her kids one by one about her plan.
Kendall Jenner, the daddy’s girl
Fortunately, her transition also helps to bring her closer to her kids, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
“When my dad came out as transgender, our relationship grew,” the 24-year-old model said, per People. “She could finally be honest with me.”
Growing up, Kendall Jenner revealed her dad was not the type that she could talk to about her feelings. So, it was a huge step for all of them when they started talking about “deep emotions she was feeling through that time.”
As she has been a daddy’s girl her whole life, their relationship now grows every single day.
“I used to watch old Olympic videos of my dad and wish I could be a part of those spectacular moments with her,” she added. “There are so many stories she tells about her life, and I love to just sit there and listen.
Kendall Jenner praised Caitlyn Jenner for living so many “amazing lives” in a single lifetime. Her favorite thing to learn about her is just all the things about her dad. She has been an inspiration to many then, and she remains to be an inspiration now.
“Because of my dad’s bravery, I’ve learned to love what I love and not be ashamed of it,” she continued. “She’s been my role model since before I can even remember, from sports growing up to now with her wisdom. She’s so brave, and I aspire to be as brave as her one day.”

The hero of her own kids
When Caitlyn Jenner came out in 2015, Kylie Jenner found the revelation encouraging.
“My dad has always been an inspiration to me, from winning the gold medal at the Olympics to getting her pilot’s license,” she explained. “However, watching her live out her true self has been the most inspiring of them all.”
With the former decathlete’s bravery, she has been inspiring everyone from day one. So, Kendall and Kylie Jenner both agreed that she is their hero.
However, Caitlyn Jenner couldn’t help but question herself if Bruce Jenner deserved to be thrown away after her transition.
“He did a lot of good things,” he said, per Mirror Online. “He raised 10 kids.”
Despite that, she would never turn her back from her decision to be Caitlyn Jenner.
