Kevin Feige served more details about Thanos’ snap on the table, including whether Yelena survived the disaster or not.
With the release of Black Widow, Kevin Feige clarified if Yelena Belova managed not to get affected by Thanos’ snap.
During a Twitter watch party for Black Widow, fans asked him about a theory surrounding the character. The Marvel Big Boss, of course, teased them all and answered with an exciting plan.
“You will find out, but not on this Twitter thread. -KF,” he said, as quoted by Marvel Studios’ official Twitter account.
His statement is seemingly related to Yelena’s appearance in Hawkeye. However, for what it’s worth, the Black Widow’s post-credits scene saw her working for Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.
It is highly likely that the young Red Room agent shifted her work during the years under The Blip.
What Florence Pugh thinks of Black Widow
Black Widow serves as the first film under the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4. As usual, it did not disappoint the franchise as it immediately nabbed first place for the highest box office opening since the pandemic began.
Scarlett Johansson’s standalone film earned $80 million in its first weekend alone. According to Variety, its debut on Disney Plus generated more than $60 million in sales. To be exact, it scored $78 million from 46 countries, contributing a huge amount to $158 million.
“There’s no question it’s been worth the wait,” said Disney Studios Content chairman Alan Bergman. “Cate Shortland, Scarlett Johansson, and the Marvel Studios team have delivered an exceptional film that continues a legacy of creative excellence as the Marvel Cinematic Universe expands and enters a new era.”
Meanwhile, before its release, Pugh shared her honest thoughts about playing one of the vital roles in the film.
As reported by Comic Book, Pugh, allegedly, felt that the film was not some sort of torch-kind of film. She explained that, while making Black Widow, it did not feel like they needed to continue something.
Because of the plotline, she saw how complicated and painful the story could be to Marvel fans. Pugh also assumed that everyone would appreciate Black Widow’s story.
Indeed, with the high box office sales, it is safe to say that people surely loved the storyline.
Aside from big screens, Black Widow is also available for viewing on Disney+ Premium Access.
