“Diet and exercise go hand-in-hand,” Khloe Kardashian said on how she lost almost 60 lbs. after giving birth.
In 2018, Khloe Kardashian gave birth to her daughter, True. While she has deemed her to be the best thing that has happened to her, she revealed that she had challenges in losing weight after her pregnancy.
Aside from all the weight that she gained, the reality star also said that her love for “quesadillas” and snacks further adds to the overall challenge of losing weight. But, despite the “constant temptation” as she loves “anything that True is eating,” she has maintained her 60-pound weight loss journey, according to Today.
Khloe Kardashian prefers to exercise more than food control
On Friday, the Kardashian sisters sat down for a quick livestream interview with Poosh, Kourtney’s lifestyle website. Khloe Kardashian said that “diet and exercise” should always go together when trying to “lose a significant amount of weight.”
She then revealed that from her 203-pound weight after giving birth, she is now “around 150.” Khloe also described it as her “weight vicinity goal.” However, she takes the “high 140s” range as “the dream.”
The celebrity then went on to share with her sister that she does not watch what she eats. But, she pointed out that this does not mean that she eats bags of chips all day. Instead, she cleared out that she would rather “put effort” in exercising and going to the gym more than exerting effort in the kitchen.
It has appeared that Khloe Kardashian does not want to “deprive herself” of her favorite foods, as per People. It would be “a miserable life,” she reportedly explained.
Khloe exercises amid pandemic crisis
Prior to the livestream interview, Khloe Kardashian reportedly incorporates her daughter, True, into her workouts. As stated, she runs up and down a hill while her two-year-old daughter is attached to her body. “She’s my weight,” the celebrity told her sister and the viewers.
Alongside her workouts with True, she reportedly utilizes jumping ropes, as well, for half an hour per day. Also, using a treadmill is a huge part of her routines.
Advice for beginners: set small milestones
At the near end of their discussion, Khloe Kardashian shared a few tips and advice for individuals who are at the beginning of their “health journey.” She said that it is important to set “small milestones.”
She revealed that “it was agony” when she first started. But, she started by doing her fitness routines “two days a week.” After two weeks, she “advanced” to making it every Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Khloe Kardashian then said that “patience” is also essential. It will be a “long journey,” but it will be the “most rewarding journey,” she asserted.
