Kim Kardashian just announced the cancelation of Keeping Up With the Kardashians after Season 20.
But according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, the cancelation of Keeping Up With the Kardashians has nothing to do with the clan wanting to stay out of the limelight. In fact, it’s only a matter of time before Kim Kardashian, Kourtney, and Khloe’s children return to television.
“As a father of three, I know that whether on not kids will be in the spotlight is partially down to them – whether they enjoy it or whether they want to shy away. But what we’ve seen so far with the Kardashian grandchildren is that they thrive,” he told Closer UK.
Kim Kardashian, Kourtney, Khloe Kardashian’s children love the spotlight
Hilton talked about Mason Disick and said that Kourtney and Scott Disick’s son seems to love the attention. At a young age, he already his a TikTok account, and he also has a huge following.
“I imagine they’ll all want it and that their parents will enable it because that’s what their ‘normal’ has been in their lives so far – cameras around and them being all over social media. But a concern I have is this. What we’ve seen with other ‘dynasty’ families with global fame on this scale is problems as they’ve gotten older,” he said.
Kardashian-Jenner cousins could get into fights, jealousy issues
The celebrity blogger said that it would become cut-throat for Kim Kardashian, Kourtney, and Khloe’s kids. And there will also be fighting for the spotlight because there are just too many of them and there’s likely to be more.
“There’ll be selling stories, backstabbing, jealousy, and greed. It’s rarely happy families. Mark my words – there will be issues,” he said.
Kim Kardashian launching her own network, a streaming platform
Hilton also said that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians was canceled so that the Kardashian-Jenner clan could focus on their other projects. There are claims that they will be launching their own media company or streaming platform.
“They could each have their own different kind of show or work with some of their friends. Kourtney for example has been hanging out with a very popular TikTok star called Addison Rae, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they’re working on something together. Whatever they do, this isn’t the end of them, it isn’t them bowing out of the spotlight,” he said.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians just premiered its 19th season last week. The show continues to feature Kim Kardashian, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Disick, and Kris Jenner.
