Kim Kardashian is setting the record straight behind the cancellation of their reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
Last month, the Skims founder broke the sad news over her Instagram and mentioned that “KUWTK” is coming to an end after 14 years and 20 seasons.
In a lengthy post, she revealed that it is a mutual decision of the family to bid goodbye to the longtime running reality show and to their fans who watched them through “good times and bad times.”
“This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever,” she wrote, alongside a photo of their first promo cover poster.
The 39-year-old reality star also shared that the last and final season will be aired early next year.

Now, the KKW Beauty opens up as she spoke about the real deal behind the “KUWTK” cancellation.
In her recent interview for Grazia magazine’s cover story, marking her big 4-0 celebration, the mother-of-four shuts down malicious rumors involving their reality show.
Kim Kardashian confessed that the family needed to take some time off and to focus on their lives.
“This was a dream of all of ours. We never imagined we would get onto season two. Now we’re on twenty. Sometimes we just need a break. It’s really simple.”
Moreover, the multi-millionaire also cited that another factor is their busy schedules, and most of them have their own families now.
“We just need a minute to regroup. You know, we haven’t had a break for fourteen years. We’ve gone in filming a season, then a spin off and I think there’s no other way to say it other than, we just live such big lives. And we have kids now. And they need us. There’s so much going on that, even just for a minute we need a break.”
Prior to this, multiple reports noted that the famous family is ending their reality show because it has not been renewed by E! for another year.
Aside from this, there are also speculations Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s marriage fall out is also a reason behind the cancellation.
To recall, their marriage fallout sparked after the Yeezy creator expressed his interest in running for a seat in the White House.
This also includes his infamous speech in South Carolina, where he revealed that he and his wife considered aborting their eldest daughter, North.
