Kim Kardashian has once again faced a massive backlash amid her 40th birthday celebration.
The Skims founder has been making rounds of headlines after opting to celebrate her birthday milestone in an exclusive island party getaway.
According to Page Six, the KKW Beauty owner spent a whopping $1 million in a luxurious private resort in Tahiti called The Brando, where she flew 30 of her guests, including the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan and selected friends.
Following this, the reality star has been updating her nearly 200 million Instagram followers with her behind-the-scenes snaps during her lavish celebration.
Kim Kardashian urged followers to vote
In her recent IG post, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashian” star posted a series of photos with their famous momager, wearing an all-white ensemble while the 40-year-old reality star is donning a body-hugging birthday outfit that showed off her curves.
“Now that I have your attention…this a reminder to VOTE. 6 days,” she wrote, as she encouraged the public to participate in the upcoming US national election.

Unfortunately, these drew criticisms from social media as netizens blasted the mother-of-four with scathing remarks.
“oh, so she’s still posting pics from her pandemic bday party and pretending it’s not tone-deaf,” one commented, while the other harshly called out the Skims mogul and wrote, “how dare someone have a different opinion!”
Meanwhile, an individual advised Kim to endorse the former Vice President, now the Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, instead of blabbing about voting and posting her posh vacay.
“your endorsement of Biden (who I would bet you’re voting for) would go a long way so just…do it.”
On the other hand, another fan aimed at the reality star and questioned who she was voting for in the presidential seat.
“Too bad she can’t say whom she wishes you to vote for otherwise she sure as hell would have said if she thought it was for her husband. Makes me sick to think about the spaces they will take up in line to go throw away a vote for Kanye.”
This is not the first time that a Kardashian member has been under fire for using a thirst trap post to get the attention of the public to vote.
Earlier this month, Kylie Jenner posted a lewd photo alongside a caption, “but are you registered to vote? Click the link in my bio.. let’s make a plan to vote together.”
Surprisingly, the online voter registration and verification tool traced a 1,500% surge in user interaction after the beauty mogul shared the site.
