Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have, allegedly, decided to sign a midterm agreement that would come in handy if they decide to get a divorce.
According to Heat, Kim Kardashian and West are resetting the terms of their six-year marriage by drafting an ironclad and detailed mid-nuptial agreement.
Kim Kardashian, Kanye West marital problems
The document will, allegedly, make the couple’s lives less complicated if and when they decide to get divorced.
Last summer, Kardashian and West were plagued with divorce rumors amid the latter’s bipolar disorder battle. The rapper also posted a series of tweets accusing Kris Jenner and his wife of controlling his life.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star released a statement thereafter asking everyone to be more compassionate towards her husband. Kardashian and West reunited at Wyoming shortly after to fix their relationship.
Kim Kardashian placed Kanye West on marriage probation
A source told Heat that the couple’s marriage is currently on probation. Kardashian and West don’t, allegedly, want to file for divorce. But they know that anything can happen based on their recent spat.
“Kanye is effectively on marriage probation right now. If he can’t prove to Kim that he’ll put their family first, then she’ll reluctantly walk away. They’ve already started splitting their finances, but in the event of them splitting, Kim wants half of Kanye’s cash earned during their union, plus $1 million she’s entitled to for each year of the marriage as per their original prenup,” the source said.
The insider also said that even though Kim Kardashian and West could go back to how they were before, they still need a mid-nup. This way, she can have an added protection regardless of what will happen to them later on.
Rumors debunked
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Kardashian and West have not said anything about singing a mid-nup.
In fact, prenuptial, mid-nuptial, and post-nuptial agreements are private matters. And details of such documents are not normally disclosed to the public.
‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ canceled
Following a challenging past couple of months for the couple, the mom of four announced that Keeping Up With the Kardashians will air its final season next year.
“After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way,” Kim Kardashian said.
