Kim Kardashian launched a new line on SKIMS Solutionwear amid the pandemic crisis.
As the COVID-19 crisis continues, several brands have released new products that may help slow down the further spread of the novel coronavirus. One of these brands includes SKIMS Solutionwear, Kim Kardashian West’s “shapewear line.”
When the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended the public to wear face coverings, like cloth, this reportedly caused many retail clothing brands to launch their own non-medical masks. This is most likely the reason why SKIMS also started to offer the same product as the demand is quite apparent.
Kim Kardashian West launched SKIMS face masks
On Saturday, the reality star launched the new line on social media. It has become SKIMS’ first collection of “seamless face masks,” according to Page Six. As added, the inspiration for the design came from the brand’s “signature Solutionwear.”
There are five signature colors available. These include sand, clay, sienna, cocoa, and onyx. All of the “tonal shades” also reportedly match the brand’s other products, like bodysuits, briefs, and bras.

SKIMS face masks sold out in less than 30 minutes
Shortly after Kim Kardashian launched the new line, the SKIMS founder announced on Twitter that the masks have sold out. A representative for the brand reportedly confirmed the announcement and shared that the stocks were exhausted in less than 30 minutes, as per Insider.
Kim then went on to assure fans and followers that a new batch of the face masks will be available next week. Also, she shared that they are “working” with their “local partner” in Los Angeles to increase production.
In the end, she encouraged everyone to “sign up” on the brand’s platform to “receive” further details. She then thanked them for their “support.”
SKIMS Solutionwear pledges donations to charities
Kim Kardashian West’s brand said in a press release that they will donate 10,000 masks to different charities. These charities will include Baby2Baby, Good+ Foundation, National Domestic Workers Alliance, and LA Food Bank.
The brand also reportedly “pledged” a donation of $1 million back in late March. As explained, the recipients of the donations are the COVID-19-affected families.
Kim Kardashian then said that it is now SKIMS Solutionwear to “give back” and do what the whole company can to “help others.”
