The old Shin will take center stage in Kingdom Chapter 689, as he will again fight with a sword against Gakuhaku.
As his previous moves are no match to Gakuhaku, Shin will return to his old ways to defeat the enemy. Thus, Shin will go on full combat in Kingdom Chapter 689, while Qin fights against time.
The Fight Against Speed
Despite Shin’s speed, he is still chasing Gakuhaku’s afterimage, Recent Highlights noted. The enemy uses an incredible move, coupling his afterimages with speed.
Sadly, Shin cannot keep up with his ability. Though he can handle his speed, the afterimage is something new to him.
So, Shin has to put off the extra weight he carries and he is about to unleash his best move in Kingdom Chapter 689.
He will now use his muscle memory, instincts, and skills that he has developed through years of training. He has to ditch the super-strong weapon he has and use these skills.
Now that he is feeling it, he will become far stronger when he finally manages to adjust. When Shin finally defeats Gakuhaku, the next storyline may feature Kan Ki.
The Zhao army will have to move when they finally learn Kan Ki’s plan. As no one has any ideas on what will be Kan Ki’s next move, things will be an exciting sight to see.
Chapter 688 Recap
In Kingdom Chapter 688, Suugen told the Pig Brothers about the sword Shin used to fight before using the glaive. Bihei said Shin had already stopped using a sword for a long time.
Anyhow, Denei believed that using a sword would be an advantage for Shin, OtakuKart News noted. The latter then realized it was a long time since he last used a blade in the war, so he tried his best to recall how to utilize it.
From here, he received a big hit and told himself that his moves were incorrect. This made him think that he needed to rely on his body more than the sword.
After a while, Shin finally started to strike Gakuhaku, impressing his people and making some improvements.
Suugen saw that Shin made ideal movements better than what he used to make. From here, he developed an overwhelming strength to wield General Ouki’s glaive.
Suugen was confident that Shin’s unique swordsmanship would give the enemy a hard time keeping up with the fight.
However, the opponent’s soldiers questioned if Shin could continue the battle for a long time. Bihei knew Shin could surpass the brawl, knowing he and Hyou had been in a number of endless fights.
As Gakuhaku experienced Shin’s wrath, would he finally be defeated in Kingdom Chapter 689? The new chapter will drop on Saturday, Aug. 14.
