There’s a new anime series that fans will surely start watching. Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui or It’s Disgusting to Call this Love will start conquering the small screens this year.
Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Wa is a romantic comedy about a May-December love affair of Ryo and Ichika. With its eccentric storyline, this anime has a lot of new stuff to offer.
New anime’s storyline, theme songs, and more details
The anime has dropped its second promotional video, revealing its official opening and ending theme songs.
It introduces fans to Ryo, a bachelor who bravely proposes to a young high school girl, Ichika, on their first meeting.
Despite the age, the lead guy character remains determined to win the student’s love. He has no plans to hold his feelings back, believing she’s the one for her, Epic Dope noted.
Ichika will find their love repulsive; thus, the title Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui or It’s Disgusting to Call this Love.
Well, it may have something to do with Ryo’s unconventional way of courting. Aside from proposing on the first day they met, he’s already asking for a kiss.
This move incredibly surprises Ichika. So, will Ryo ever stop, or will he do everything to marry her?
Meanwhile, the teaser also reveals the anime’s opening song, “Monochrome City (Monokuro City)” by Ace Collection. This song has a “fluffy” tune that emphasizes the “collision of thoughts in love” even more.
Alternatively, its ending song will be “Rinaria” by MaRuRi to Ryuga. The duo says a flower’s name inspires the title, and in its language, blossom means “notice this love.” This perfectly suits Ryo’s feelings for Ichika.
