It might come as a surprising fact to the fans of Lady D, but its model has never played any of the past titles in the Resident Evil series!
During a media interaction Helena Mankowska, who acted as a model for Lady D, revealed that she never played any Resident Evil game before the 2021 title.
Lady D model has no ‘Resident Evil’ experience!
Since the first maiden reveals via a teaser, Lady D has become a widely followed gaming character among the fans. On social media, she keeps trending through various memes or gameplay videos.
Following the blockbuster release of Resident Evil Village, the tall lady vampire has grown even further as far as her popularity is concerned.
However, the franchise lovers will be shocked to know that there’s a fun fact related to Lady D’s face model Helena Mankowska.
In a recent interview, the Polish actress revealed that before Resident Evil 8, she didn’t have any experience of the horror series. Simply put, she has never played any past entry in the iconic gaming series.
She said that she did hear about the installments but never really played them.
Since she was a face model for Lady D, speaking about her, she said:
“I always portrayed her as a mother more than a vampire.”
While telling about the character’s rendering in the final version, she expressed how she felt about going through the gameplay.
“I didn’t expect it to be so emotional for me. Standing in front of it, just with all of the hype, felt big inside of me.”
She added that it was overwhelming for her to see an incredible response to Lady D across the internet.
Helena Mankowska thanked the franchise’s community and even described it as her new family. She also hoped to work more in the industry in the future.

New games in 2021
Resident Evil Village is swaying the gaming lovers at the moment. But there are lots of other upcoming fresh releases as well in 2021.
