Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper were romantically linked to each other following the success of their movie A Star is Born. However, one tabloid claimed that Lady Gaga put on a show to make her on-screen partner jealous.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper never confirmed the dating rumors between them. However, several outlets were convinced that they were an item. But all those reports were not true as Gaga already said they never dated.
Lady Gaga made Bradley Cooper jealous
Last summer, Star published a report claiming that Lady Gaga was “putting on a show” to make Bradley Cooper jealous. The outlet was referring to the Poker singer’s PDA with Dan Horton.
Gaga and Horton enjoyed a lunch date in Los Angeles. They were enjoying themselves and were having a great time.
However, the magazine claimed that it was just for a show because Gaga wanted to make Cooper jealous. The Alias star was allegedly not ready to commit following his split from his baby mama, Irina Shayk.
Lady Gaga reportedly stepped out and displayed a new man to make Bradley Cooper realized what he was missing. However, Gossip Cop debunked the claim. A source close to the singer said the report was bogus.
The singer addressed Bradley dating rumors
Lady Gaga was aware of the romance rumors between her and Bradley Cooper. She set the record straight during her interview with Oprah. She admitted that what was between her and Cooper was all for a show since they were working on a movie.
“We did a really good job at fooling everyone. We created that,” Lady Gaga said.
“I mean, we made a love story. For me, as a performer and as an actress, of course, we wanted people to believe that we were in love. And we wanted people to feel that love at the Oscars.”
Oprah agreed and said that their movie would not have worked if the audience didn’t believe in their romance. The host also recalled a conversation with Cooper, telling her that he couldn’t look at his co-star in the eyes if his feelings were true.
Bradley and Jennifer Garner romance
Cooper and Garner share almost two decades of friendship. They both starred on ABC’s TV series Alias. According to Garner, they became close because she was among the first person Cooper met when he was still new in the industry.
