Lady Gaga was not stepping away from the spotlight to have a baby as what one tabloid claimed.
Lady Gaga was allegedly stepping away from the spotlight to focus on conceiving a child, according to Woman’s Day last year. The report is not true at all.
Lady Gaga allegedly wants to have a baby
In 2019, Woman’s Day published a report claiming that Lady Gaga was trying to have a baby with her then-fiance Christian Carino. The outlet added that the Poker Face singer was willing to turn her back from the entertainment industry to focus on starting a family.
The outlet quoted an anonymous source who alleged that the A Star is Born actress had received various movie offers from “serious dramas to period pieces to romcoms and even a superhero movie.” However, Gaga was in no rush to cash in on her success.
The insider insisted that at the time, Gaga was focused on having a baby. The dubious source also claimed that Lady Gaga and Carino were desperate to become parents.
Gossip Cop debunked the report after talking to Lady Gaga’s spokesperson, who called the report fabricated.
A year later, Gaga is still very active in her acting and singing career. In fact, a few months ago, she released her album Chromatica. She also performed at the MTV Video Music Awards last week.
Gossip Cop added that at present, the Rain on Me singer is enjoying the height of her career. Also, when she becomes a mom, she doesn’t need to take a break from her work because she will likely make it like most working moms do.
Moreover, Gaga and Carino were no longer together when the report was published. She broke off their engagement and at present, she’s dating Michael Polansky.
Also, with Woman’s Day’s reputation for publishing articles based on the statements of its undependable sources, this could be another groundless claim waiting to be debunked. So, Gaga’s avid followers should take these hearsays lightly until everything is proven true and correct.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper rumors
Lady Gaga was romantically linked to her A Star is Born co-star Bradley Cooper. The pair were very effective in playing as lovers on screen that many thought they were dating. There were speculations that they just kept their romance a secret.
However, Lady Gaga set the record straight in an interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year. According to her, it was all for a show and she and Cooper never had romantic ties.
“We did a really good job at fooling everyone. We created that,” Lady Gaga said.
“I mean, we made a love story. For me, as a performer and as an actress, of course, we wanted people to believe that we were in love. And we wanted people to feel that love at the Oscars.”
