Lady Gaga will reportedly release the music video for the song “Rain on Me” soon. A collaboration with Ariana Grande, the song will hype up the release of Gaga’s upcoming album “Chromatica.”
Fans of the two superstars are excited to finally see the music video for the track. Both of them have a reputation for delivering stunning music videos.
This is especially true for Gaga, who is known for groundbreaking music video collaborations. She memorably released “Telephone” and “Video Phone” with Beyoncé during the first few years of her career.
Lady Gaga recently received applause for her efforts to raise funds for COVID-19 relief. She successfully mounted a digital concert called “One World: Together at Home” in early April.
Based on a report, the digital concert raised a total of US$127 million for coronavirus relief efforts. The one-time event had a star-studded line-up, with video messages from figures like Lupita Nyong’o and Michelle Obama. Artists like Paul McCartney and Billie Eilish also performed remotely during the concert.
The “Bad Romance’ singer co-organized the eight-hour concert with the World Health Organization and Global Citizen. A bulk of the money raised during the concert will go to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
Apart from the Ariana Grande duet, Lady Gaga has other exciting things in store for ”Chromatica.”
Mother Monster confirmed that her upcoming record would have a 16-song tracklist. According to a report, three of the songs in the album will be named “Chromatica.”
Gaga also has two other collaborations lined up for the album. “Sour Candy” will feature the South Korean girl group Blackpink. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga will be singing with English music icon Elton John on “Sine from Above.”
Ariana Grande also released a duet single with Justin Bieber this week. Titled “Stuck With U,” the charity song will benefit the First Responders Children’s Foundation. The song received positive responses from fans and critics when it hit streaming services.
“Stuck With U” is not the first time the two pop superstars collaborated. Grande previously appeared on a remix of Bieber’s single “What Do You Mean?” They also appeared on the all-star charity single “Earth” by Lil Dicky.
“Chromatica,” the sixth studio album of Lady Gaga, will become available in streaming services on Friday, May 29. On the other hand, Ariana Grande last released a record last year with “Thank U, Next.”
