Latest ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ ad features Keanu Reeves

Cyberpunk 2077 makers just shocked everyone with their latest ad featuring Keanu Reeves. The short clip aired during NBA Finals’ first game.

The ad that Cyberpunk 2077 posted on Twitter shows Keanu Reeves promoting the anticipated video game and its story. He tells the viewers about the stakes involved and how it will be breathtaking. In the background, Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy track creates a significant impact throughout the 30-second video.

This will boost the hype among the gamers waiting for a long time for this title.

Watching Reeves himself in the video is undoubtedly exciting. In past promotional trailers and gameplay teasers, only his game avatar was seen. In those clips, he interacted with other in-game characters.

Just recently, CD Projekt Red made headlines and irked the fans saying that all developers are on an ‘overdrive.’ It means that they are working six days a week to finish the overall game.

CD Projekt’s announcement on Cyberpunk 2077 annoys fans

Intense gamers and people on social media criticized the makers for rushing things up as they thought that the developers didn’t do their job on time.

Although many other developers came in support of this ‘overdrive’ announcement, they said it’s a common practice as an artist or a developer working on a big title like Cyberpunk 2077.

When any studio approaches the launch of a massive project, all the people involved can also work overtime to ensure everything is perfect.

Despite this, many people trolled CD Projekt Red across various internet platforms.

Coming back to Cyberpunk 2077, it’s a long title in the making. The first big reveal happened more than seven years ago, in 2013.

Since then, it’s gone through many transitions and additions, and actor Keanu Reeves’ involvement was announced last year. It was the E3 2019 event.

Everyone went berserk upon witnessing him in the game. When he eventually showed up on stage, it was a phenomenal moment for the fans.

Keanu Reeves character details in Cyberpunk 2077

Keanu’s character in Cyberpunk 2077 is called Johnny Silverhand, but he is non-playable. Yes, that’s true. He is inspired by the original Cyberpunk 2020 table-top game by Mike Pondsmith.

It’s a sad fact that gamers won’t be able to play as Johnny. However, his presence in the gamer will drive many sales when it finally releases on November 19.

The latest Keanu Reeves ad also confirmed, again, that there’s no more delay now. The game’s launch date is closed for November.

All die-hard gamers, keep your patience intact for one last month.
