Over the weekend, Riot gave a pretty extensive update for its League of Legends: Wild Rift. Following the announcement of its upcoming open beta, Riot just recently mentioned the suspension of its current TestFlights.
The Alpha testing happened sometime in June, with most that received the access were content creators and gaming streamers. Last month, the testing widened with its closed beta phase.
At the time, the game’s availability was limited to four Asian countries. This time, League of Legends: Wild Rift will welcome new countries such as Japan and South Korea on October 27.
So that means for the Regional Open Beta, the following participating countries are:
Riot will slowly open the western regions starting on the first week of December this year, covering:
Unfortunately, services for the Americas is still slated for Spring next year.
For those with current Closed Beta access, be on the lookout for new skin drops and added Champions. This will include the newly added LoL Champion, Seraphine.
The Noxian brothers, Darius and Draven, are coming to the mobile platform as well, although players will unlikely witness their duet. Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa will also be added to the roster for testing.
Lee Sin, the Blind Monk, will also be gracing the players with its presence starting October 23.
Players should take full advantage of the playable champs, aside from Lee Sin, as Riot is set to place them back to the vault after the Closed Beta.
To prepare for the Regional Open Beta, Riot announces the suspension of TestFlights. That said, iOS beta players will not be able to download nor play the game starting October 22.
Fortunately for Android players, the game will still be accessible, even after its scheduled TestFlight suspension on October 23. The only downside to this is, other users won’t be able to download the game until the Regional Open Beta opens on the 27th.
This is why it is important that those who have been privileged with the Early Access, should download the game while they still can. For those who have the game, it is highly advised to not uninstall it after October 23, as you will not be able to reinstall League of Legends: Wild Rift until the Open Beta stars.
Accordingly, players “progress and inventory will carry over from the Closed Beta.”
