League of Legends Wild Rift will pretty much be the same as the PC version but with a few tweaks. The good thing is that roles are still going to be present so players can pick out which heroes they prefer. Here are the roles in the game and how each should be played.
Top roles mostly refer to those who are in the top lane. This lane is usually reserved for fighter or melee heroes, and they go toe-to-toe with the other team’s top lane. Eventually, top roles will rotate around the map to initiate ganks starting at mid lane.
True to its name, those in the role of the jungle will be moving around mostly in the map’s dungeon wherein the neutral creeps reside. Junglers will rely on these creeps to get stronger. As part of the role, junglers must also “jungle” between the lanes to start ganks and ambushes.
As one of the most active roles in the game, those who play as heroes in this role will need to understand map rotation and the layout of the map itself.
ADC or attack damage carry is the most important role in League of Legends Wild Rift. This is mostly reserved for ranged heroes that have the capacity to have high attack speed and damage. ADCs are accompanied mainly by tanks early in the game so that they can farm and get stronger more effectively.
True to its name, support roles are focused on helping members of the team. This role is mainly for tanks and mages. Supports will accompany ADCs in the early game, and they mostly remain behind the frontlines during clashes. Support roles should have a decent crowd controlling capacity so that he can protect their allies during intense clashes.
League of Legends Wild Rift will launch in the Philippines and on Brazil for Alpha testing this June 6. Riot Games hopes to launch the game fully sometime this year not only for mobile devices but also for consoles as well. It will launch with a limited amount of heroes who will grow over time through updates for the game.
