A new tweet from user L0vetodream mentions the arrival of new Apple products, but the exact nature of those products hasn’t been detailed. Is a new iMac ready to ship?
With the WWDC 2020 keynote over, it was unexpected that new hardware wasn’t announced at the big event. Luckily, there are new products expected soon.
According to a legitimate leaker, and while a specific unveiling hasn’t been specified, we have a few guesses as to what those products might be. This could also include a new Apple iMac.
New Apple products are ‘Ready to Ship’
While it seems hard to believe, it is already nearly a month after the WWDC 2020 keynote, where Apple revealed its latest software updates. In the event, the American company also confirmed that they would be transitioning to Macs with custom-designed processors.
According to Macrumors, a leak suggested that Apple also planned to unveil a redesigned iMac with thinner bezels at WWDC 2020. However, there ended up being no hardware refreshes.
But that changes now. The wait for new hardware could soon be over.
As proven leaker “L0vetodream” has suggested that Apple has at least some new output “ready to ship.” As usual, the tweet was somewhat cryptic, providing no further details.

Recall that L0vetodream is the same Twitter account that revealed several accurate details about upcoming Apple hardware and software.
The revelations include the launch timing of the new iPhone SE and iPad Pro models earlier this year, the marketing name MacOS Big Sur, the handwashing feature in watchOS 7, the handwriting-to-text feature Scribble on iPadOS 14, among many more.
Apple iMac and more
The tweets just mentioned that there are “some products” ready to ship, but we still have no solid proof of what specifically those products are.
Fortunately, we have a few ideas regarding what those products might be. It was rumored that a redesigned iMac would be revealed at the WWDC keynote, but that announcement didn’t materialize. So it is safe for us to conclude that the product the tweet is talking about is the redesigned iMac.
Recently, hardware leak showed that an upcoming Intel-based iMac using a particular 10-core 20-thread CPU with a 95W TDP might be released shortly. The news could be the latest iMac fueled by an Intel chip, after which new machines might be outfitted with Apple’s custom ARM chips.
Aside from the iMac, the 2020 Apple TV 6 is reportedly ‘ready to ship,’ with a previous leak hinting that it will arrive in the 64GB and 128GB storage configurations.
Apple is also rumored to be planning high-end, over-ear headphones for release this year. Regarding the HomePod, rumors have suggested that Apple is also working on a smaller, lower-priced model plus the iPhone and lower-end iPad this year.
