Lee Min Ho achieves 20 Million followers on Instagram


Korean superstar Lee Min Ho bagged 20 million followers on Instagram a few days after reaching the same populace on Facebook. The prolific actor now becomes the first Korean celebrity to accomplish the feat on both Facebook and Instagram.

To celebrate with their talent, Lee Min Ho, MYM Entertainment commemorated the actor by posting a photo, celebrating his Facebook account’s 20 million followers.

On October 4, the actor’s Instagram account also hit 20 million followers. With this new achievement, the agency posted another photo to congratulate the actor.

Lee Min Ho’s followers on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo, breached 28.63 as of October 4. At the same time, the actor surpassed 3 million followers on his Twitter account.

As of writing, the actor remains the only Korean artist to reach such comprehensive records, proving the actor’s massive influence on his fans worldwide.

On King Choice‘s list of the 100 Most Attractive Asian Celebs of 2020, the actor has ranked No. 3 among Asian celebrities. And on the said voting contest, he garnered a total of over 100 million votes.

Right at this moment, Lee Min Ho is taking a break and is reviewing several projects. He returned to the small screen with the hit series The King: Eternal Monarch after completing his mandatory military service last year.

Lee Min Ho Surpassing The ‘W’ Actor Lee Jong Suk

In a previous report by BTimesOnline, Lee Min Ho, after the conclusion of the drama series The King: Eternal Monarch, achieved a staggering 16.5 million followers on Instagram. The actor surpassed actor Lee Jong Suk with the whopping figures. Lee Jong Suk previously holds the title of the most followed Korean actor on the platform, with 15.9 million followers.

According to sources, Lee Min Ho’s followers’ spike on his social media platform is due to the fans’ high anticipation of the actor’s new drama series. Before airing the superstar’s recent drama, he only got 12.6 million but ballooned to additional 4 million followers when the drama aired.
