Lee Seung Gi is gearing for the release of his first full album after five years! The upcoming release is the singer’s seventh studio album.
Through the pre-release single The Ordinary Man, Lee Seung Gi made his comeback in November as a singer.
And now, the promising singer has confirmed that on December 10 at 6 p.m. KST, his upcoming full album titled THE PROJECT will be released in both online and offline formats.
The much-awaited album
Featuring work from some of the top producers in South Korea, the album will contain nine tracks. The pre-release single The Ordinary Man is produced by Yoon Jong Shin.
Other producers, including Brave Brothers, Nell, and Epitone Project, are credited on the album.
The album’s title track, I’ll Do Well (literal translation), was produced by Brave Brothers. The song contains an addictive sorrowful melody and repeated lyrics, and it is a rock ballad.
Furthermore, Nell’s Kim Jong Wan produced the song Boy, Walks the Path (literal translation). The song is said to be about how people growing over time and chasing their dreams.
Simultaneously, the music is meant to be like Lee Seung Gi’s diary that reflects the life path. It also features emotional piano and string sounds.

Moreover, the song Your Eyes, Your Hands, Your Lips (literal translation) is produced by Epitone Project’s Cha Se Jung.
It is about sending love to a loved one that they weren’t able to show before returning. During these difficult times, the song was meant to be a healing song for people.
Lee Seung Gi’s excitement
Much for the comeback, Lee Seung Gi’s previous albums’ remastered songs will be featured in THE PROJECT.
As divulged by HOOK Entertainment, the return of Lee Seung Gi to his original work as a singer after five years made him very excited and nervous at the same time.
The singer’s agency added, “Lee Seung Gi is confident that this seventh studio album is his best work. This is through being worked on by some of the best producers in South Korea.”
