The Big Little Lies star, Reese Witherspoon is reprising her role in Legally Blonde 3. Moreover, Never Have I showrunner, Mindy Kaling is on board to write the script.
Legally Blonde originally debuted in 2001 and became a success. The second installment, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde did not reach the same success as with the original. However, it still gained a box office hit tag.
The original movie follows the life of Elle Woods. She enrolled at Harvard University after her boyfriend dumped her for a smarter girl. Desperate to prove herself, she relied on her wits and beauty to succeed and become a lawyer.
The Legally Blonde is not only adapted into movies. In 2007, Legally Blonde was transformed into a musical. And later on, a reality TV competition was established to look for the next Elle Woods to play Broadway.

Kaling confirmed on her official Twitter account that she’s excited to work with Witherspoon and Goor. On Tuesday, she wrote on Twitter,
“So excited to be reunited with my friends @ReeseW, Lauren Neustadter and @djgoor to work on this movie.”
Goor, on the other hand, is a two-time Emmy writer The Daily Show and Late Night With Conan O’Brien. He is also the executive producer and writer of NBC’s Parks and Recreations.
