Four Legend of Heroes titles are coming to the west soon, following an expansive Epic Games Store leak discovered over this week.
So far, a quartet of Legend of Heroes titles are confirmed after an expansive leak over the past week. Among the titles coming out to the West include Trails From Zero, Trails to Azure, Trails into Reverie, and The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails.
Trails series coming 2022
For fans of the Trails series, many know that the game’s lore does not start with the Cold Steel series. The story starts with the Crossbell Arc, which has two games. Trails from Zero will receive localization next year, with Trails to Azure coming in 2023.

The newer entries into the entire series are also coming. These will include The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie, which the Japanese known as Hajimari no Kiseki. The game will come to the West in 2023, together with The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails.
“A quartet of legendary titles from Nihon Falcom are coming to the west,” said a Twitter announcement. “Experience the Crossbell duology, unravel the fates of Erebonia’s greatest heroes, and discover adventures beyond the horizon!”
The Crossbell Arc works as the prequel for the current Cold Steel series, known as the Erebonian Arc. Furthermore, Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie will work as the series’ sequel.
Fan translation group GeoFront to help with localization
The Legend of Heroes franchise is taking the JRPG genre by storm. All four iterations of Trails of Cold Steel have already come to the West. The games are selling well too, which is a great marker for NIS Japan.
Much of the interest for the game likely convinced the Japanese studio to bring more titles West. It’s also good to know that the Crossbell Duology will use the work of fan translation group Geofront.
“Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure are being officially localized, and the Geofront has partnered with NIS America to make it happen,” said a post in Geofront’s official website.
“We reached an agreement with NIS America and, now, our text—the text you have seen in our localization patches—will serve as the basis for the official releases of the Crossbell duology.”
The Geofront promised that they will make sure that the games get the localization they deserve. Furthermore, with Geofront leading the way, fans can be sure that the Crossbell Duology will get their proper localization.
The Legend of Heroes titles will come to PC, PS4, and the Switch. More information should be available in the weeks to come.
