LEGO has announced its brand new LEGO Art sets of buildable posters that feature Sith Lords, Iron Man, the Beatles, and the timeless art of Andy Warhol.
LEGO made the announcement through its official website earlier this week, while also noting that the new Art portraits are designed mainly for creative adults who love pop culture.
The official Star Wars website also took the opportunity to share the news, while Marvel likewise took to its website to promote the Iron Man posters, and tweeting about it for good measure.

For grown-ups this time
Despite the fact that the brand is primarily geared towards kids, that’s not to say that its products are exclusively for young ones.
It is safe to say that many adults today still continue to derive enjoyment from the assembly and the disassembly of thousands of LEGO blocks in order to build anything and everything that is awesome.
But every once in a while, the toymaker company does introduce something that is targeted for adult builders, and the new LEGO art line of buildable posters is a good example of that.
Each of the four art sets comes with its own blank canvas, well actually tiny base plates that interlink with each other, and the usual LEGO tiles in a wide variety of colors.
What’s unique about the new portrait sets is that they are also accompanied by a bespoke soundtrack that people can listen to while assembling their posters.
For instance, for those who choose to get the Sith Lord buildable posters, they can listen to interesting stories and anecdotes from the folks behind the creation and production of the mythology.
The same goes for the Iron Man sets, which should stoke every fan’s inner Tony Stark and inspire them to build their own LEGO Mark 1 suit, maybe.
Of course, the Beatles and Andy Warhol LEGO Art sets also offer their own respective soundtracks, which similarly touch on the inspiration behind the design of the artworks.

The designs
Speaking of the artworks, the Star Wars LEGO Art set features no less than the three most iconic Sith Lords in galactic history.
And it’s good to note that with Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and Kylo Ren all getting their own LEGO posters, each Sith Lord of every trilogy is well-represented and accounted for.
As for the Iron Man LEGO Art sets, Marvel fans might be delighted to know that the Mark III suit (first seen in the first Iron Man movie), the Hulkbuster Mark I (from Avengers: Age of Ultron), and the Mark LXXXV (from Avengers: Endgame) are the options.
The Andy Warhol set pays tribute to the artist’s 1967 Marilyn Monroe portrait, while the Beatles set delivers separate posters for each member of the Fab Four.
