The Lenovo Duet 7i is the newest 2-in-1 laptop in the market that can challenge the dominance of the Microsoft Surface Pro.
Last May 26, Lenovo announced the release of the newest 2-in-1 laptop of the company. The Lenovo Duet 7i promises to be the laptop that offers both powers for multitasking and portability. The company is positioning the Lenovo Duet 7i as the device that can run remote learning and remote working smoothly.
Portability that packs a punch
The Lenovo Duet 7i weighs only 1.16kg, making it a powerful tool that can be carried everywhere without hassle. The laptop has a completely detachable screen with a built-in kickstand so that users can mount the laptop on any flat surface easily. When detached, the keyboard still functions with Bluetooth 5.0 connections.
The possibilities promoted by the Bluetooth keyboard is phenomenal. Soon, users of this laptop do not have to buy a separate Bluetooth keyboard device if they want to hook up their laptops to a bigger screen. Nevertheless, the screen of the laptop is ample at 10.3-inch diagonally.
Not only that, but the Lenovo Duet 7i also comes with Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) for a super-fast wireless connection. Users may also opt to have the LTE/4G capable configuration on the device.
Advance features for a flexible laptop
The Lenovo Duet 7i comes with the latest Alexa voice service for easy hands-free assistance from the device. It also ships with a pre-installed Windows Hello security feature using an infrared camera.
When the user moves away from the laptop while watching video content, the clever presence-sensing Clever presence-sensing features from Glance by Mirametrix automatically pauses the video.
The Lenovo Duet 7i’s built-in kickstand makes it a perfect note-taking device. Lenovo takes versatility further by introducing the newest Lenovo E-Color Pen. The proprietary pen has a built-in smart sensor that allows any user to copy any real-life color. The user only has to let the tip of the pen touch a specific surface, and the software automatically captures the color.
Specs and pricing
The Lenovo Duet 7i will come at a base model of 10th Gen Intel Core i3-10110U, 4GB DDR4 RAM, and 128GB internal memory. The graphics of the laptop is the standard Intel UHD Graphics. It will ship in China starting in June 2020 for AU$ 2,000.
The Lenovo E-Color Pen and Lenovo 13-inch Laptop Leather Sleeve are two optional accessories that future buyers may want to consider to buy alongside the Duet 7i.
